Hi, This is the Official site of the KMC (Kaikoura Mtb Club), We have our own Bike Jump/XC park and trails located on Topline road. Up at the track we have a XC trail that winds down through the pine trees over some fun roll overs and has a two way split off, where one track tests your balance on a suspended log or your speed on a fast rollover, the track goes right to the bottom of the forest.There is alos a Jump Track Which weaves through the first part of the forest, it features a small table top line and has a average sized gap hit line with most of the gaps ranging from 10-15ft in length the track has a Mini Gap Jump Line aswell for the riders who need to get used to gap jumping.
We are working on putting the Bigger Gap Line all the way to the bottom of the track and build a 25 ft gap jump to have something of descent size up there, We have just got our official track signs and they are awsome, on the signs it says all the track rules and the track key.
We now have a ladder drop which is located at the end of the gap line, its about 12ft up in the tree's and its about 17ft long, you ride up a clay ramp onto the ladder and off the end where you land onto a clay/dirt landing ramp.
This Track is heaps of fun, you can definitley spend a day up there, pictures in the gallery will be added to every secound week.
